Attended the launch of Áine Uí Fhoghlú's new book of poems in Ring Recently .
Áine published her first book of poems 'Aistear Aonair' in 1999.
Her latest offering of poems, titled
'An Liú sa Chuan'
was officially launched at Ionad Pobail na Rinne by Irish Times journalist and author Catherine Foley.
There was a nice attendance at the launch, lots of finger food, wine, tea & coffee.
Catherine Foley spoke an Length , highlighting the attributes of the Author and her work.
Áine read a number of her poems and thankfully -for the likes of me- she had prepared the text of the readings in English.The book is available for seven euro fifty, which is very reasonable.
