Since I commenced the Abbeyside reference archive Blog site, I've had many emails from people with Ring Connections.Each day I get some form of request for information or photos, or a family search. There are many postings to the Abbeyside Blog site that have Ring reference, some of them you will find on here, but if you visit the Abbeyside blog you will find quite A Few.

A summer day in Ring
Here you you will see several views of Ring, some looking across the bay to Ballinacourty, boats at Helvick head and some new houses that have appeared at helvic recently

This picture I took from Kilminion, across the bay from Ring. Beyond the 'Barr Na Wee bridge' and to the left of the picture by the trees are the houses that were constructed opposite Mooney's Pub in Ring. The houses created a controversial storm at the time of their construction. Click on the Picture for a sharper and larger picture
