We are the champions

Magnificent Rinn Ua gCuanach created Hurling History at Dungarvan's Fraher's field on last Saturday. The Gaeltacht men came out on top in a thrilling County IHC decider. Their success in the Tom Lannon Perptual Cup qualifies them to participate in the 2009 county Senior Championships.This will generate a great deal of interest in the parish and is something to look forward to next year. There has never been as much excitement in the parish since the famous Ring Soprano, Clíona Mhic Ghiolla Chuda broke the windows during her performance of 'Orphée aux enfers' in the local Local Halla.

This was undoubtfully an outstanding performance from the Gaeltic, and all are to be commended. There was much celebrating throughout the night and large quanties of beverage was consumed in the Parish.
